CURRY 1 LOW FLOTRO "DRAFT DAY"

The first model from the signature line for Stephen Curry wasn't anything major when they released. It was back in 2013 and he had just signed with Under Armour, and wasn't the Steph we know today. It took him one more season to really break thru and become a household name and eventually win his first MVP and take over the NBA. Since then, he's been one of the most prolific players and it's great that UA is re-releasing his older models now.

But this ain't retros, they're called Flotros, since they are updated with the new Flow outsoles, which is one of the best, if not the best, tractions in the game right now. The last two models have been really great, and imagine if Jordan Brand released a AJ1 with a react outsole to hoop in.

I got to spend some time in a local gym in Kungsbacka last weekend with Storyteller and National Team player Tobias Borg for a Soletesting. He's a great player who plays both sides of the ball, and is known for his speed so these soles were perfect for him to try out.

I've seen Tobbe play with the National Team and he has one of the highest jumpshots I've seen since Joey Johnson in the 90's. And his change of directions is super sharp.

The pastel blue and pink pays homage to the suit Steph wore on his draft day. As I googled to see how his suit looked, I was reminded how young Steph used to look. We've seen some great Curry releases this season. But these are my favorites so far.
