SOLEBRACKET ’23 - UPDATE

Wow. This years NCAA Tournament has been great, filled with upsets and crazy plays. On both sides, with Miami beating the number 1 Indiana on the women’s side, and both Purdue and Arizona got bounced in the first round on the men’s side. And by the remaining teams on the men’s side no team were ranked higher than 4 (UConn) and Miami is in its school’s first Final Four ever.

So as of right now, we got IOWA (2) waiting for the winners between South Carolina (1) and Maryland (2) and LSU (3) waiting for the winners between Virginia Tech (1) and Ohio St (3).

On the men’s side the four teams are heading to Houston where Houston University won’t be playing, but San Diego St (5) will play FAU (9) and Uconn (4) will battle Miami (5).

With this said, it’s no surprise our brackets’ been f’ed from day one.Honestly, I’m not a big bracket guy and I’ve never been right with the Champions, but this year I’m so far off it’s embarrassing. I had Purdue just because I really wanted my friend and Storyteller Wille Berg to be part of it. But that’s the beauty of the NCAA Tournament, that one team can have one hell of a game and upset the top team in the nation. Crazy.
