SBL DAM CHAMPIONS - LULEÅ BASKET

Congrats to Soleteam Luleå Basket for winning SBL DAM as they defeated SBBK in Game 4 last night to become Champions for the 8th time since 2014.

Solesquad hooper and Team Captain Ellen Nyström had a stellar performance and led her team thru an intense and physical game and was named Finals MVP, and we couldn't be more happy to have her on our Squad. You're one of one Ellen, and we know this title means a lot after coming up short last year. So to see you cut down the net was great.

But the best part of the celebrations after the buzzer was to see the three childhood friends and teammates since a young age of Ellen, Allis Nyström and Josefine Vesterberg hug each other in tears of joy. As I asked how many titles they have, Josse took a minute to figure out how many she has, and it's crazy that the three of them combine for 14 chips. Allis, aka the Swedish Bill Russel, won her 8th title and I'm glad that she fought thru and came back from her injury and stayed ready when needed.

To the entire organisation and all the ladies, thank you for this year. It was one hell of a season to witness and we're excited to see what's next.
