NIKE AIR DELDON

Earlier this season, we got the Stewie 1 by Puma. The first signature soles by a female hooper in over a decade. And now, even tho it's a new year, we have the second female baller to come out with her own signature soles in the same season. And it's not any baller. It's Elena. Delle. Donne.

Elena is one of the greatest players of all time, she got too many awards to fit in one post, but she's an WNBA Champion, WNBA MVP twice, Scoring Champion, Rookie Of the Year, 6x All-Star, 4x All-WNBA First team.

After being a standout in Highschool, she committed to UConn, but left the school shortly after. The reason? She wasn't ready to leave her family, especially her older sister Lizzie, who has cerebral palsy and is blind and deaf. And she is one of the main inspirations to the Nike Air Deldon, Delle Donne's first signature soles.

The first impression is that it's a real performance shoe. They feature FlyEase, Nike’s technology allowing athletes of all capabilities to rock these with ease. The EDD logo on the strap is clean and original, and the inside has a nice "Deldon" font.

As I asked Storyteller Benji to try them on for a shoot, first thing he said was they are comfortable as hell. The full Air Strobel gives these a good cushioning and the thick padding adds some nice comfort.

These soles comes in a size range up to EU 45, which allows both women with bigger shoe size and men to play in them.
